Congratulatory Message of the Minister of Defence on the Occasion of the Aviation Day
I congratulate the 2nd August – the Aviation Day to all the members of the Branch.
Continuing and cherishing the rich more than a century long tradition, you have confirmed the worth and perspective of developing the aviation branch. I am confident that the exchange of the experiences gained in successful participation in international exercises and seminars, an intensive military to military cooperation are going to be significant for the process of modification and modernisation of both the aviation branch, and the Air Force and Air Defence, which is something that you certainly has made you proud in the previous period.
The results achieved so far, a high level of training and procurement of modern aircraft guarantee the increased safety of the air space of the Republic of Serbia.
Wishing that in the forthcoming period you continue successfully discharging the assigned tasks on the maintenance and enhancement of both operational capabilities of your units and the Air Forces and Air Defence, and the Serbian Armed Forces as a whole, I congratulate this holiday to you.
