Cyber Tesla 2018 Distinguished Visitors Day
Today, at Gornji Milanovac, a Distinguished Visitors Day was held as part of the multinational Cyber Tesla command post exercise, which was conducted simultaneously in two locations: at the Communication and IT Training Centre in Gornji Milanovac and in the city of Columbus, Ohio (USA).
The exercise included members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, members of the US Armed Forces - Ohio National Guard and representatives of the private and public sector of our country who are who are performing jobs in the field of IT security.
The exercise Cyber Tesla is part of the Serbia–Ohio State Partnership Program in the field of cyberspace protection. The overall goal of the exercise is to build military capacities of the defence system to defend against cyber attacks and to improve cooperation with relevant state and international institutions in order to protect the cyberspace of the Republic of Serbia..jpg)
The participants of the exercise are located in two geographical locations that are interconnected through the Internet, and they perform their tasks on a purpose-built closed information and communications infrastructure. In this way, it is possible for a training unit - a security response team to be multinational and synchronised in cyberspace regardless of geographical location. The task of the team is detection, defence and recovery actions against cyber threats, using publicly available software tools - programmes and trained personnel.The Cyber Tesla exercise was first carried out in 2016 and has been performed once a year since then.
