Marking the Day of Military Geographical Institute

The Military Geographical Institute marked today its 134th aniversaqry. The present guests were addressed by Dragan Radulovic, Secretary of MoD and Colonel Mirko Borisov, PhD, Chief of the Institute. The mosts successful employees were awarded acknowledgments.
 The task of the institute since its establishment till today is geotopographic securing of the army, focusing predominantly on making maps of various purposes, contents and scale.
Colonel Borisov expressed great pleasure with the fact that the Institute was one of rare military institutions that has a continuum since its establishments. He announced that we were expecting participation in a national project, establishing and mantaining a national infrastructure of geospatial data.
