Minister Sutanovac has suffered light injuries in a traffic accident
Minister of Defense Dragan Sutanovac has sustained minor injuries in a car crash today. After being examined in the Military Medical Academy, he was released and sent home. The minister is feeling well.
Minister was injured in a traffic accident which occurred today at 09:10 on Belgrade-Nis highway near Batocina, when the official vehicle of the Minister of Defense suddenly skid off the road in order to avoid colliding with another vehicle. Probably due to bad weather conditions, the car in front of the minister’s car, suddenly skid off the road, turned around, and then due to the snow on the road found itself in the same lane as the minister’s car.
The minister’s car was hit from the right, causing the minister’s official driver veered off the road in order to avoid a graver traffic accident.
Minister was on his way to Kopaonik where he was supposed to visit the trauma center and the ski grounds where the cadets of the military Academy are undergoing training.
