According to Major General Uglješa Jovičić, the early promotion to a higher rank is the result not only of his personal work, but also of all colleagues in the military health care, especially at a time when everyone had an extremely important task – to fight Covid-19.

- Without fellow medical workers and colleagues who are the pillar of military health care, we would not be able to fulfil the task that was set before us. I thank the Supreme Commander, the Minister of Defence and the Chief of the General Staff for recognizing that we tried to complete our tasks fully, and I thank them for recognizing my personal engagement. This is a big obligation for me and an even bigger honour. I can also say and promise that we will work even better and that we will improve military health care - said General Jovičić.

Brigadier General Srđan Petković said that promotion to a higher rank is a special moment in the career of every professional serviceman.

- For me, the promotion is a huge recognition, satisfaction and honour - on the one hand, and on the other - an obligation and responsibility in performing the upcoming tasks, together with members of the Logistics Department, Central Logistics Base, administrative and executive logistics bodies of the Serbian Armed Forces in creating conditions for an unhindered fulfilment of tasks of formations, units and institutions of the Serbian Armed Forces. I thank my superiors - the Supreme Commander, the Minister of Defence and the Chief of the General Staff for placing their trust in me - said General Petković.
