Centre for Migrants in Dimitrovgrad electrified

At the initiative of Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic, and after yesterday's tour, the Temporary Centre for the registration of migrants in Dimitrovgrad has been electrified tonight.

This enables normal work of healthcare workers, members of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic Serbia, representatives of the Red Cross and the Secretariat for refugees that had had no electric power for over ten days.
During the tour of the Centre, Minister Gasic stressed that the priority of all competent authorities in the Republic of Serbia is a humane and responsible attitude towards migrants.

- Our job is to provide them to go within 72 hours to some of the reception centres or continue their journey to their desired destinations – Gasic added.

Minister Gasic stressed that Serbia did not need to put up fences against its neighbours, and that it was essential that all competent national authorities did their job the best and most humane way possible, and that the electrification of the Temporary Centre in Dimitrovgrad was one of the indicators of how everything could be done efficiently and responsibly.
