Handover of duties of the Director of the Defence Inspectorate



Today the handover of duties of the Director of the Defence Inspectorate was held which was attended by Defence Minister Nebojsa Rodic and Chief of General Ljubisa Diković .

The former director Major general  Jovica Draganic , who is appointed to the new post as Deputy Chief of Staff handed this duty to Major General Goran Radovanovic, MSc.

Minister Rodic congratulated the appointments to generals Radovanovic and Draganic wishing them success in their work .

Defence Inspectorate has an important function of inspecting tasks in the defense and your work provides insight into the capabilities of commands, units and institutions , providing professional and objective information to the management and command and detects flaws and possible illegalities . In particular, the important role of the Defence Inspectorate is to order and propose measures to remedy identified weaknesses . This roles of the Inspectorate strengthens the responsibilities at all levels of the defense system, which is important for increasing the functional capabilities and proper material and financial operations .

With this in mind, at the ceremony personal characteristics of Generals Radovanovic and Draganic and their dedication were commended as they have been appointed to the aforementioned responsibilities.
