Training of the reserve element of the First Brigade
Units of the First Brigade completed today this year's cycle of training people from the reserve element in the barracks "Bosko Palkovljevic - Pinky" in Sremska Mitrovica.During the two days of intensive training, drivers and gunners on M84 tank, drivers of infantry combat vehicles BVP M80A, artillery topographic surveyors, snipers, operators, cooks and reserve element of other specialties, with experienced officers, repeated and consolidated the knowledge gained during military service, required for maintaining the required level of training for the relevant position within the formation.
Major Slobodan Stankovic, Commander of the 15th Tank Battalion, and also the Commander of the Sremska Mitovica garrison, pointed out that the response of people from the reserve element to the planned training in Srem county was traditionally good. Thus, on the recent call of people from the reserve element allocated to the battalion commands, the response was one hundred percent. At the training organized this weekend nearly 80 percent of the reservists responded to the call.
