Minister Rodic visits Complex Combat Systems factory in Velika Plana



Defence Minister Nebojsa Rodic visited today the "Complex Combat Systems" factory in Velika Plana, where the Deputy Acting Director of Yugoimport SDPR Branislav Prostran informed him on the progress of the second phase of the construction of the factory. Minister was informed that the SDPR have already awarded contracts worth $ 200 million of which $ 102 million is for the "Morava" plant in Velika Plana. The plant has about 70 employees, and when it is completely finished, it will employ another 200. It is anticipated that the factory employs about a thousand people including the sub-contractors.

During the visit, Minister Rodic was introduced to the products of SDPR: "Lazar 1" and "Lazar 2", "Nora" howitzer, "ALAS" system, which is under development, and new assembly line of the plant in Velika Plana.

The most advanced laser and other equipment have been installed in the "Morava" plant by which the "Complex Combat Systems" factory ranks among the most modern manufacturers of military equipment in the region.
