Training for developing defence plans



Department for Military Obligations organized today, in the Central Military Club, training of the authorised persons from the defence elements of the Republic of Serbia in the development of defence plans. The training was attended by authorized persons from ministries, local governments and big companies which, on the basis of the Law on Defence, have a duty to develop their own defence plans.

Head of the Department for Military Obligations, Colonel Milic Stanic, said in his opening speech that the Government of the Republic of Serbia, should adopt a defence plan for the Republic of Serbia after which begins the time period of six months during which all defence elements should develop their own plans. According to him, the training organized by the Department and the Ministry of Defence regional centres are aimed at assisting the public authorities and companies in meeting their obligations.

Today's training will serve to share experiences and remove certain doubts and problems that the people in charge of the defence matters in their companies and government bodies have encountered so far, and could expect in the future period.
