"Zastava Film" at the festival of historical and military film in Warsaw



Members of the Military Film Centre "Zastava Film" took part in the International Festival of historical and military film from held at the Academy of National Defence of Poland in Warsaw, in the period from 16 to 21 September.

The festival was attended by representatives of 15 countries, and during the six days 70 projections from the categories of feature, documentary and military films were made.

MFC "Zastava Film" was presented with three films that were produced in the last two years, among which the film "Century of the brave ones" made in co-production with SBC, received a special recognition of the Central Military Library, partner of the festival, in the category of documentary military films. The films "History of the Serbian defence industry" and "Training Plane Lasta" were rated high marks for technical quality and special effects.

- It was a valuable experience that will benefit us in the implementation of some new projects in the future, said the director of MFC "Zastava Film" Lieutenant Colonel Mate Vujnovic, adding that the participation of the MFC in the festival, was an ideal opportunity for the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces after many years, to be promoted internationally through military film industry.

On behalf of the organizers of the festival, Brigadier General Boguslaw Pacek, rector of the Military Academy, thanked Lieutenant Colonel Vujnovic and Major Ikonic for participation in the festival and expressed special gratitude to the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia for recognizing this event.
