Cooperation of the countries of Western Balkans in defence



Delegation of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces headed by the Chief Directorate for International Military Cooperation, Brigadier General Ljubomir Nikolic, participated in the 13th meeting of the Forum  Western Balkans Defence Control SEEC, which was held from 25 to 27 June 2013 in Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The forum is a place for the exchange of security and other information and proposing solutions for the optimal use of available defense, security, financial and other resources.

On this occasion, the participants were acquainted with the progress in achieving the status of RCBD Regional Center in Krusevac, as well as the proposed new regional centers for training of senior medical staff in Belgrade and lower medical staff in Nis. Furthermore, the priorities of the defense system reform of the Republic of Serbia were presented as well, which can be achieved through partnership goals.
