Cooperation with Laos
State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Aleksandar Nikolic met with the first Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Laos Kip Tongluno Sisulito.Sisulito is heading a high-level delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Laos, which was in an official visit to the Republic of Serbia with the aim of improving cooperation between the two countries.
In the last two years, this is the second official visit by a high ranking delegation of Laos to Serbia, indicating readiness for establishing and promoting bilateral cooperation.
At the meeting both sides expressed mutual interest for cooperation in the defense field. During the talks Secretary of State Nikolic stressed the importance of institutionalizing relations by signing a defense cooperation that would create a legal basis for the implementation of all forms of defense cooperation in the future.
