Military commemorative medals presented to representatives of the Nordic Initiative



By the Decision of the Defence Minister Aleksandar Vucic, military commemorative medals for contribution to the defence system of the Republic of Serbia were awarded to the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden, the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Denmark and the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Norway for they active participation in the “NCO Training Centre” project.

For that reason, on the occasion of the completion of the “NCO Training Centre” project, the State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Zoran Djordjevic presented commemorative medals to the ambassadors of the Kingdom of Denmark and the Kingdom of Sweden, Mette Kewell Nielsen and Christer Asp, and to the Norwegian Defence Attaché Colonel Esben Aass.

The three Nordic Initiative countries provided assistance in financing the project of support to career change, thanks to which a significant number of professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces completed the relevant training and gained new knowledge and skills necessary for further social reintegration.

Earlier today, an expert workshop has been held by representatives of the Ministry of Defence, the Serbian Armed Forces of and the Nordic Initiative countries to mark the completion of the “NCO Training Centre” project.
