Defence consultations with Hungary
Head of the International Military Cooperation Brigadier General Ljubomir Nikolic, as part of regular bilateral defense consultations, met with the Chief Directorate for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Defence Colonel Hungarian Sandor Juhas in Budapest, on 25th February. .Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the level of cooperation achieved in the field of defense and tendency to further improve cooperation. This is corroborated by the fact that the number of activities for 2013 is 4 times higher year-on-year. Focal areas of cooperation are joint involvement in missions, joint military exercises, exchange of experience of participation in Partnership for Peace and the sharing of experience in the process of transition and reform of the defense system.
After bilateral consultations, Brigadier General Juhas and Colonel Nikolic signed a bilateral military cooperation plan between the two defense ministries in 2013.
