Day of the defenders of the fatherland
On the occasion of the defenders of the homeland, the national holiday of the Russian Federation, at the Monument to Soviet veterans on Avala, wreaths were laid by representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia, Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the City of Belgrade.Tribute to the laying of wreaths at the monument were also paid by the diplomatic representatives of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Azerbaijan.
The Russian national holiday was marked at the memorial and cemetery of the defenders of Belgrade, where wreaths were laid by the Russian Ambassador Alexander Konuzin, the delegation of the Serbian Army, the Serbian government, the representatives City Hall and many ambassadors.
