The Serbian Armed Forces Help in Defence against Flood




Upon an appeal of the Emergency Situations Staff of the town of Kraljevo, more than 50 members of the Serbian Armed Forces have been engaged on providing assistance against the flood to the population.
  Members of the Army Second Brigade have been engaged in Mataruška Banja near Kraljevo on the construction of levee to stop the flooding of the River Ibar which threatens to flood surrounding households.
 
The emergency situation caused by heavy rainfall and flooding of rivers was proclaimed in 12 local governments in the Republic of Serbia.
 
Members of the Serbian Armed Forces are always with their people, and like many times before, they are ready now to provide all necessary assistance to the population by employing personnel and machines.
