Envoy of the President of the Republic and the Supreme Commander, the Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin laid a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Hero




Envoy of the President of the Republic and the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, the Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin, accompanied by the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, Milan Mojsilović and the Acting Commander of the Training Command, Brigadier General Jelesije Radivojević, laid a wreath today with military honours at the Monument to the Unknown Hero on Mount Avala on the occasion of 9th May – Victory Day over fascism in the Second World War.
In the visitors’ book, Minister Vulin wrote the following:

 "Defiance, patriotism and heroism led you to Victory Day in the fight against fascism - the greatest affliction in human history.

Eternity belongs to you, fallen heroes, and we, the eternally grateful, are obliged to remember. "
