An airplane has arrived with new aid from the People's Republic of China




The Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin welcomed an airplane at Belgrade's “Nikola Tesla” airport tonight, receiving another delivery of medical aid from the People's Republic of China, which also includes medical supplies for the Ministry of Defence.

Minister Vulin points out that valuable medical aid has come from China, and it is a donation that will help us cope with the coronavirus.

He especially thanked the State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence, SASTIND, and the ALIT and CPMIEC companies which cooperate with the Ministry of Defence and our defence industry, as well as other donors from China, who have found ways and means in these difficult times to help us by sending this donation.

The President of the Republic of Serbia and the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, and the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, have made a friendship that is a friendship between our two peoples as well, Minister Vulin emphasized.

- The big thing is that this airplane has arrived and that the assistance continues, and the big thing is that we can rely on the friendly Chinese people and that we are getting help at the right time and just what is needed - Minister Vulin emphasized.

The Minister of Defence said that the donation contains various medical devices and supplies, adding that a part of it goes to the Ministry of Defence, but that everything goes to the citizens of Serbia.

The plane transported 1,280 protective suits, 98,000 protective masks and 245 contactless thermometers for the Ministry of Defence.
