Congratulations for the Day of the Meteorological and Navigation Services
I congratulate the members of the Meteorological and Navigation Services on 1 November – the Day of the Services.
Today you are celebrating almost a century since the founding of the Meteorological Section of the First Air Force Command in Petrovaradin, which was responsible for the organization of the aviation meteorological service, as well as manning and equipping.
Convinced that in the days to come you will continue to perform the tasks assigned to you and contribute to the development of your Services, as well as of the Air Force and the Air Defense of the Serbian Armed Forces as a whole, I congratulate you on the holiday.
Congratulations for the Day of the Veterinary Service
I send my congratulations to the members of the Veterinary Service on the occasion of 1November – the Day of the Service.
On this day in 1851, on the proposal of the State Council and by the Decree of Prince AleksandarKarađorđević, the first Head of the Veterinary Service was appointed. Through successful completion of the set tasks and continuing the tradition of more than one and a half centuries, you prove to be worthy descendants.
