Visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Finland





A three-member delegation of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Finland visited today the Defense Policy Sector where they entered expert discussions in the field of defense planning with the Strategic Planning Department representatives.

The expert talks, led by the Head of the Strategic Planning Department, Colonel Slaven Vujić, were an opportunity to exchange experiences and achievements in the field of strategic planning and drafting of strategic documents, planning the development of the defense system and the application of methods, tools and techniques of analytical support to the planning of the development of the defense system.  

Representatives of the Finnish delegation, consisting of Ministerial Advisor and Director of the Strategic Planning Team Karolina Honkanen, Senior Staff Officer Lt. Col. Tommy Lapalainen, and Ministerial Advisor Jane Helin, outlined the strategic planning process and further explained the Finnish Government’s defense report.
