President Vučić: Republic of Serbia has much stronger police and military than in the last 30 years
- What is my essential message for citizens today is that the Republic of Serbia has much stronger police and military than in the last 30 years and they will become even twice as strong as they are today. In a very short time, we are rapidly acquiring everything we need, producing everything we need to distract anyone from a potential idea of aggression, invasion or any form of attack against the Republic of Serbia – president of the Republic of Serbia and supreme commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, has said today after the exercise Return 2019 performed by members of the Ministry of Interior, attended by defence minister Aleksandar Vulin.
President Vučić also pointed out that this is important information, having regard to the world as it is nowadays, which cannot be said to be a bastion of stability and security and safe future.- Our armed forces and our security forces are the guarantor of our stability, the future of our children and we will have more and more money and invest more money – President Vučić said, adding that we are not going to hide it from anyone.
Serbia, president Vučić concluded, will find a strong enough response for everything.
President Vučić also expressed his pleasure that the delegation of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China led by General Zhang Youxia, who is on an official visit to our country, attended today's exercise of the Ministry of Interior, because they had the opportunity to review our capabilities, just as they will have such an opportunity tomorrow at the exercise of the Serbian Armed Forces dubbed Begej 2019.
President Vučić announced that the top military leadership will also have meeting today, attended by minister Vulin and chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović, to prepare a list of everything we are interested in, which would be submitted to the Chinese delegation.At the Nikinci training ground, at the demonstration tactical exercise Return 2019, 133 members of the Special Counter Terrorism Unit, Gendarmerie and Helicopter Unit of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia displayed skills, equipment, armament and firepower.
