Minister Vulin: Without a strong army there is no peaceful and stable Serbia

- The Serbian Armed Forces gives special attention to the training of its members, but also the training of the reserve element. There is no professional army that could protect its country alone. The country can be protected and preserved only if it has a powerful and well-trained reserve. These are things that we have not been doing for a long time, and now we are returning and we are investing great efforts to raise the level of training and the scope of our reserves – Minister Vulin said after today's tour of the reserve force of the military police speciality that carries out training in the stationary camping in the Pasuljanske livade military complex.

Minister Vulin assessed that people on training were highly motivated.

- People are motivated, they respond and come to their army, because they know how to protect their families, their country and peace in our country. Without a strong army there is no peaceful and stable Serbia. This is an increasingly powerful army that can preserve and will be able to preserve its country – Minister Vulin said.

Reserve Second Lieutenant Milan Stanojević, who works as deputy prosecutor at the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, responded to the call-up for training of the reserve force for the third time. As he points out, the training is interesting, and with the help of the commanding staff, the extremely correct officers and non-commissioned officers from among the professional staff, nothing was difficult.

- This year, at the Pasuljanske livade training ground, we are being trained in military police methods for the search of persons, terrains, facilities, weapons handling, suppression of reconnaissance and raider teams and terrorist groups and all other tasks that fall within the domain of the military police – Stanojević said.

For the reserve soldier Aleksandar Milinković, this is the second time that he is in training.

- We are all satisfied with the training and the commanding staff and they are working hard to provide us with the conditions for normal work and life in our unit – Milinković said and stated that during training, he and his colleagues had the opportunity to refresh the old knowledge, but also to learn something new.
