Minister of Defence meets ASDS students




 
Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin has met today with participants of the 8th class of the Advanced Security and Defence Studies at the Small War Room of the Old General Staff building in Belgrade.
 
Minister Vulin and the students talked about the completion of schooling of the 8th class, the results of the work, achieved results during schooling and realised study visits to the institutions of defence and security of the country.
 
The 8th class of the Advanced Security and Defence Studies is to be completed by nine students, five from state institutions and government organisations of the Republic of Serbia, three members of the Serbian Armed Forces and one member of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
 
Today's meeting was also attended by Assistant Professor Lieutenant Colonel Goran Radovanović, Rector of the University of Defence, Brigadier General Sinisa Kresović, Chief of Defence Minister’s Private Office, Colonel Mićo Suvajac, Chief of the National Defence School, and Colonel Goran Župac, PhD, Head of the Advanced Security and Defence Studies.
 
The Advanced Security and Defence Studies is an organizational unit in the National Defence School which annually realises the highest level of training of officers and civil servants. The objective of the advanced studies, which last 21 weeks, is education and preparation of the students for taking up senior positions in the national security system.
