Minister Vulin: The Serbian Armed Forces is characterised by morale and competence

During the visit to the personnel on training of reconnaissance reserve element at “Peskovi” military complex near Požarevac, today, Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin confirmed that there is no single day that the Serbian Armed Forces does not exercise somewhere and does not prepare its reserve and active element.

- In order to defend and preserve our country, we must be trained, ready, and have as many people who passed basic training as possible, or who reminded of what they learned while serving their regular military service – Minister Vulin said, adding that the Serbian Armed Forces will invest more in the reserves in the next period, invest more in training, because what distinguishes the Serbian Armed Forces is morale and competence.

For Miloš Petrović from Kruševac, the training he attends is an opportunity to learn something new, but also to renew what he learned during his military service.

- I am satisfied with the training, mingling with colleagues. The commanding staff is quality and good with us. They are doing their best for us to learn new things, to remind ourselves of what we did earlier. We recalled the handling of weapons, equipment and some tactical and security measures - Petrović said.

Aleksandar Žujić, also from Kruševac, has similar impressions. Training is interesting to him, and as he says, accommodation and nutrition conditions are good. The knowledge he acquires in training he considered useful, especially in the area of more modern weapons that he and his colleagues did not use at the time when they served their military service and tactical training that they had not done before.
