Visit of European Union military education experts’ delegation
Rector of the University of Defense, Major-General, Docent Goran Radovanović, PhD, and his associates welcomed today a delegation of the European Union Military Education Experts, led by Brigadier General Wolfgang Peischel, from the Armed Forces of the Republic of Austria, in the premises of the Rectorate of the University of Defense.
During the meeting, the delegation was introduced to the structure, tasks and position of the University of Defense in the higher educational system of the Republic of Serbia. Projects and activities of international cooperation implemented by the University of Defense with military educational and other educational institutions from abroad were also presented to the guests.In the continuation of the visit, the delegation was received by the Commandant of the Military Academy, Major-General Prof. Bojan Zrnić, PhD with associates. In addition to the presentation of the organization and scope of work of the Military Academy, a visit to a part of the capacities of this higher educational asset of the University of Defense was organized for the guests.
At a meeting with representatives of the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy, members of the expert delegation were presented the tasks of the faculty.On the second day of the visit, a tour of the School of National Defense and the Institute for Strategic Research is planned.
