Congratulatory Message from Minister of Defence on the International Women's Day
I congratulate all members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces on 8th March – International Women's Day.
In memory of the struggle for economic, political and social equality of women – whose basic achievements are the acquisition of universal suffrage, the right to perform public functions, the introduction of eight-hour working day, the equalization of salaries and working conditions for men and women, the protection of mothers and the introduction the right to maternity leave – on this day, the International Women's Day has been celebrated around the world for more than a century.

Fill years with life, not life with years, and be proud of what you are – wise, beautiful, dignified, gentle, yet courageous and unique and do not allow anyone to deprive you of the respect you deserve!
