Minister Vulin: I have called upon 53 ministers of defence to prevent non-convicted terrorists from creating their armed forces
Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin sent letters to ministers of defence of 53 countries in which he called upon them to prevent the establishment of the Armed Forces of Kosovo.
- The thing which raises concern is the announced establishment of the Armed Forces of Kosovo and attempt to create another paramilitary formation in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija. The non-convicted terrorists now want to have their armed forces as well, and to repeat all those crimes and everything for what they have not been convicted, but this time in the form of the armed force. For Serbia, that is absolutely unacceptable and it should have to be unacceptable for the international community as well. For the purpose of preventing the situation in which someone would say one day that he did know at the time what happened in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, I have sent letters to 53 addresses, for 53 ministers of defence of the most important countries of the world. They have received very clear letter which states what it is about to take place in Kosovo and Metohija, how dangerous it is to create a paramilitary in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, that the so called Armed Forces of Kosovo and Metohija are something that can significantly disturb the state of peace in Kosovo and Metohija, and in the entire region as well - Minister Vulin underlined.
He added that no one can say now that he was not informed and that he did not know.
- The world has to know and it knows that this is an attempt to create a terrorist organisation in Kosovo and Metohija which will call itself an armed force, and it is created solely for one reason - for settling a score with Serbia and for settling a score with the Serbs, and not for any other reason or anyone else - Minister Vulin stated.
He emphasised that he addressed his colleagues expecting that they will inform their governments and he also expected from them to protect international law, and to protect the military profession.
If armed forces are not created from the Islamic State, then armed forces cannot be established from the terrorist KLA as well - Minister Vulin concluded.
