Telegram of condolences to the Minister of National Defence of Turkey




 
Minister of Defence of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin sent a telegram of condolences to Minister of National Defence of Turkey Hulusi Akar in wake of the tragic accident when soldiers were killed and injured in an explosion at an ammunition depot at Hakkari province in southeast Turkey.
 
The telegram reads:
 
“Dear colleague, it was with grief and sorrow that I received the news of a tragic accident when soldiers were killed and injured in an explosion at an ammunition depot at Hakkari province in southeast Turkey. Such events point to the risks that members of the armed forces face every day.
 
At this difficult moment, my thoughts and thoughts of all members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces remain with the Turkish people.
 
On behalf of all members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and me personally, please pass my sincere condolences on to the families of the perished and wishes for speedy recovery to the injured.”
