Visit from a Delegation of the Russian Federation to the Sector for Budget and Finance
From 9th to 12th October, expert talks are taking place in the Sector for Budget and Finance of the Ministry of Defence with representatives of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation in the field of financial operation.
Delegation of the Ministry of Defence is led by State Secretary Bojan Jocić MA, and the six member delegation of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation is led by Alexey Valentinovich Charkov, Deputy Director of Department for Financial Security.State Secretary Jocić underlined at today’s meeting that the cooperation between the two ministries in the field of defence financing had been initiated in 2016, and that it was continued successfully to mutual satisfaction and he expressed his belief that the cooperation would contribute to further development of the overall relations between the two countries.
The topics of the talks were the exchange of experience in the field of Ministry of Defence budget, financing participation of the members of the Serbian Armed Forces in peacekeeping missions, pays and other emoluments and development of financial management and control.
