The UN Secretary-General visited the Serbian military hospital in Bangui




 
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres who is on a visit to the peace-keeping force in the Central African Republic, on the occasion of the 24th October - the United Nations Day, visited the Serbian Military Hospital in the capital, Bangui, yesterday.
 
The UN Secretary-General was welcomed by the commander of the contingent of the Serbian Armed Forces, Colonel Jadranko Jukić and his associates.
 
Mr Guterres, with his delegation, visited patients at the Military Hospital and commended our medical staff for their taking care of the health of the members of the United Nations in this mission.
 
The Serbian Armed Forces began its engagement in the MINUSCA mission on 20th September 2014, and currently in the Central African Republic there are an officer appointed as Deputy Commander of the Sector West, two officers on staff duties, two officers on military observer duties and 70 members of the military hospital role 2. Engagement in this mission is our biggest engagement after the UN mission in Lebanon.
