Letter of Appreciation to Bratislav Gašić
Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin presented today a Special Letter of Appreciation of the Ministry of Defence to the Director of the Security and Information Agency Bratislav Gašić for his personal contribution and engagement, which led to the transfer of the founding rights and obligations of the Museum of Aeronautics - Belgrade to the Republic of Serbia.

"The Museum contains a true treasure, it is an exceptional monument of history that has been in an unresolved status for decades. The agreement on the transfer of founding rights, signed on 15 March this year with the authorised representatives of the founder of the former Museum of Yugoslav Aviation, created the conditions for that institution to become the property of the Republic of Serbia. With this acknowledgment, we wish to thank Bratislav Gašić for his efforts and the vision that brought them to that effect. In the future, the Ministry of Defence will ensure that museum treasures are preserved for generations to come", Minister Vulin said.
The Aeronautical Museum - Belgrade will be in ownership of the Republic of Serbia from 1st January next year, and will be managed by the Ministry of Defence.
