Factory worker M. I. (1962), seriously injured during the fire of technological waste that broke out two days ago at the factory "Milan Blagojević - namenska" in Lučani, passed away at the Military Medical Academy today.
 
Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin offered his deepest condolences to the family of the deceased worker. The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Ljubiša Diković, has also offered his condolences to the the family.
 
Earlier today, Minister Vulin visited the accident site at the factory in Lučani and talked with representatives of the commission dealing with determining the causes and circumstances of this accident.
 
Today, the Minister of Defence ordered that extraordinary inspection be carried out in all factories of the defence industry and surveillance of fire and occupational safety measures.
 
The Minister then met with the management of the factory and representatives of the trade unions. State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence, Aleksandar Živković, Assistant Defence Minister for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović, Head of the Department for Defence Technologies, General Major Bojan Zrnić, and Director of the “Milan Blagojevic-Namenska” factory Radoš Milovanović attended the meeting.
