Algerian PhD students presented with certificates

Today the Head of the Military Academy Major General Goran Zekovic presented five members of the Armed Forces of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria with certificates of completed doctoral academic studies in this institution.

During the previous three and a half years they conducted research on the study programme Military Mechanical Engineering and did PhD theses, which they defended at the end of March.

The ceremony was attended by the Algerian Defence Attache Colonel Ahmed Boudra, the Acting Dean of the Military Academy Colonel Prof. Dr. Milenko Andric and representatives of this scientific institution.

Congratulating the new PhDs, General Zekovic expressed contentment with their work and dedication, as well as commitment which they showed during PhD studies.

“I am especially elated at your knowledge of the Serbian language, whose learning marked the beginning of your stay in Serbia, but also at the level of competence you demonstrated, setting a good example to all our students”, the Head of the Military Academy said.

PhDs expressed contentment with the conditions they had during the studies at the Military Academy, with special gratitude to the hosts, as well as representatives of Yugoimport SDPR and the Military Technical Institute, and also the Algerian Ministry of Defence on trust. They emphasized that PhD title is only opening the door for their further scientific work. Therefore, they hope that new young people from Algeria, who have all conditions for professional development in Serbia, will follow them.
