General Draganić visits on-call units at Batajnica airport



Lieutenant General Jovica Draganić, Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, has visited tonight units at the Batajnica airport that are part of the permanently ready forces for control and protection of the sovereignty of air space of our country.
 
General Draganić first attended a presentation of the training level of a missile battery from the composition of the 250th air defence missile brigade, then he visited members of the 20th battalion for air surveillance, reporting and guidance, and finished the visit by tour of the on-call unit of the fighter aviation from the composition of the 204th Aviation Brigade.
 
Deputy Chief of General Staff extended greetings to members of the Air Force and Air Defence for the upcoming holidays and commended them for the high level of training and work in protecting the Serbian sky. Talking to the officers and soldiers he pointed out that the recently started equipping and modernization of the Serbian Armed Forces will give tangible results in improving the operational capabilities of the Air Force next year.
 
General Draganić was accompanied by Brigadier General Duško Žarković, Deputy Commander of the Air Force and Air Defence, Brigadier General Sava Milenković, Commander of the 250th AD Missile Brigade, and Colonel Željko Bilić, Deputy Commander of the 204th Aviation Brigade.
